Orphalese Tarot Help

This version of the Help File has been fully updated for version 11 of the program. The program now includes fully context-sensitive help. Press F1 on any screen to get help with that part of the program.

If you are moving from Version 10 or earlier to Version 11 please read the notes here.

You can check which version of the program you have using the Check for Updates tool.

Registered and Unregistered Users

There is only one version of the program, but certain features are locked until a registration code is entered. Unregistered users can only see a maximum of three decks on their My Decks menu. Certain network features are partially restricted for unregistered users. For example in the Deck Exchange you can preview the contents of the deck but you are not able to download and install it. In most other respects the program behaves the same whether the user is registered or not. There is no time limit so you can try it out for as long as you like before you decide to buy it.

The following window appears if you have not yet registered the program and you try to access a feature which is only for registered users:

About this Manual

Quick Start: We strongly recommend that new users read everything in this section which offers a basic guide to using the program.

Main Menu: The main section of the Help manual is arranged in the same order as the program's main menu and its sub menus. You can either read it in order or dip into it as a reference for the more advanced features of the program.

Miscellaneous: Some miscellaneous topics which don't correspond to specific menu items are covered at the end.

Other: A final section covers keyboard shortcuts, a glossary of terms used throughout this manual, languages and troubleshooting.

Tip: Pay attention to the special tips for using the program which are marked liked this.

Tip: Press F1 on any screen while using the program to get help with that part of the program.
